Who We Are:
Peak Design Co. is a product development agency in the GTA. Led by a team of passionate and creative designers with strong technical and manufacturing backgrounds, we are ambassadors of the design process and are highly motivated to do good product design.

Matter and Form release their latest scanner “THREE”
Congratulations to our client Matter and Form who just released their latest 3D scanner “THREE” on Kickstarter. Peak Design was in charge of the industrial and mechanical design of the enclosure, helping to develop it from concept to mass production.

We believe in the design process and that every stage of development is important to launching a successful product. Research is used to evaluate markets, validate concepts, and find opportunities. We use iterative design techniques to quickly conceptualize and refine ideas. Prototyping is used to quickly test assumptions, ergonomics, scale, and function. And we know that good manufacturing sources can make or break a project.
ABOUT US
Principles: Scott Bodaly + Heather Lam
With almost three decades of combined experience, Heather and Scott have been involved with many successful product launches. Graduates of the Carleton University School of Industrial Design, both Heather and Scott were chosen to represent the school by working at a design firm in the manufacturing epicenter of Shenzhen, China. While there they were tasked with training the local team in formal design thinking and processes, while working on a diverse range of projects.
After moving back to Canada they chose to relocate to Toronto due to the strong design industry. Both Heather and Scott gained invaluable experience while working at various design consultancies. Growing upon their strong theoretical and practical knowledge, Peak Design Co. was created as a medium to practice the design process.
During their spare time, Heather and Scott run the National Design Collective, a venue for new classic Canadian design objects.
